The annual Stones River Battlefield Concert took place August 10, 2019, and nearly 100 people came to hear the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra’s Brass Quintet play music from a bygone era. The focus on the music was an exploration in how music has been a vital component in the history of our great country.
Nice weather, prompted several to combine the musical event with a picnic in the park. There was even a civil war soldier who stopped by and took in the event.
