Our final concert this season is “Chapter 5: A European Adventure.” Join us for this musical travel across Europe where you will hear German-British baroque-composer George Fredrick Handel, Polish violinist and composter Henryk Wieniawski, French organist and composter Gabriel Faure, Russian Peter Tchaikowski and more, playing familiar pieces. This mainstage concert, the last of the season, is sure to give you a spring-time feeling, as we listen to the music of some of the most influential composers in Europe. Get your tickets here…

Please join us as we celebrate young musicians and vocalists from all across Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools. The purpose of the Richard Siegel/TPO Music Excellence Awards program is to offer opportunities for students and families to know the importance that music plays in education and the daily life for them and the community they live in.

A farewell concert by Concertmaster, Stefan Petrescu, a long-time member of the Tennessee Philharmonic. Petrescu was on a second tour in the United States with the Romanian Symphony, when in 1989 he chose to risk it all and defect to the US and never returned to the USSR controlled Romania. He along with his family settled in Murfreesboro where he soon joined the Murfreesboro Symphony. Please join us for this special recital by the Concert Master, as we bid him farewell.
