Pay tribute to our founder Dr. Laurence Harvin!

Six more days, and the Veterans Concert kicks off the 40th season of the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra. Don’t miss out on this event, as we pay tribute to the orchestra’s founder, Dr. Laurence Harvin.   Back in 1981, Dr. Harvin and the Symphony Guild worked to create a home for musicians and symphony fans in middle Tennessee. The mission: To bring literature to life because literature is the history of music, and it is only alive when you play it. For 40 years, children and adults have borne witness to the magical and melodic offerings of the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra’s bringing literature to life.   Don’t miss out on this event, Friday, November 12th at 7PM. Tickets are available here…   This concert is free for all Veterans. If you are a Veteran or bring a guest who is a Veteran, just let us know as you check in, and we have a free seat for them.   This and all concerts this season takes place at Belle Aire Baptist Church, 1307 N.
