Greetings Middle Tennesseans!!! I’m excited to finally be able to announce our new season. It’s been a long road for all of us and we’re far nearer our destination than 18, 12, and even 6 months ago. We’ve learned much about decisions being made, not made, overridden, altered, untouched, and just about anything else that can be done with them. That said, we feel comfortable in laying out our plans for you to enjoy the magnificent Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO).
Nobody likes cancellations, and ticket refunds aren’t at the top of anyone’s list either. In doing our best to avoid both, we have decided our wisest course of action is delivering “Concerts `A La Carte”. We have set our mainstage events for the 2021-2022 40th Anniversary season and will sell tickets to everyone one show at a time. Therefore, we will not have season tickets available.
This is our 40th Anniversary and we pray that the pandemic still allows us to bring a whopper of a concert season to you!! While it prohibits us from proceeding with our kickoff concert in September, the remainder of the season is still intact.

- Our seasoned, professional musicians have been perfecting their talents and are as anxious as anyone to play for you.
- To provide you a wide array of concerts, we are returning to “guest conductors” so you can fully experience the best there is in Tennessee.
- The TPO board has been strategizing about ways to better connect with you and deliver dynamic concerts beyond anyone’s expectation.
Your TPO exists for you and our students. To that end, we’ve been as active as possible in the local school systems with our education outreach programs. As the pandemic lifts, we’ll assist as many schools and students as possible.
Finally, bridging the gap between our full, mainstage concerts and surviving the pandemic, has taken some special planning and creativity. We scaled back the numbers and delivered several small ensemble concerts in and around Middle Tennessee. Hands down, your favorite, and ours, was the Flatbed Philharmonic concert. Our plan is to bring that back on an annual basis either in the spring or fall of 2022.
Please note our beautiful new venue, the Belle Aire Baptist Church, 1307 N Rutherford Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Log on to our website www.tnphil.org to purchase your tickets today!!
